H4000 – Elster Bulk potable Cold Water Meter
H4000 is a Woltmann-type meter designed for measuring bulk flows of cold potable water in commercial or industrial applications and distribution system monitoring. Accuracy is maintained in both forward and reverse flow, and the product offers the benefits of inductive-based pulse communications technology.
Fully compatible with a range of intelligent meter reading systems, H4000 can provide even more vital management information to assist with effective distribution management, reduce water losses from leakage and improve customer service.
When combined with the TRC600 unit, a range of intelligent features including leakage alarms, data logging and tariffs enables a complete metering system that addresses the efficiency objectives for water providers.

Elster PR7 Communication Modules
Product Description
These robust PR7 communication modules are the industry’s most advanced and reliable AMR installations, providing bi-directional pulse transmissions for automatic meter reading and network monitoring that can be used with all major data loggers or TRC600 radios. They are fully self-contained and need no external power supply.
The primary output has two wires: one carries pulses when the meter is operating in both forward and reverse directions; the other is a direction flag. This is suitable for use with bi-directional counters, TRC600 radios and with data loggers. Use with the Elster ScanCounter (in bi-directional mode) provide a fully bi-directional remote display and touch read system.
The secondary output has two wires: one carries a pulse stream that compensates for any reverse flow; the other indicates compensation is in process. Use with the Elster’s ScanCounter (in uni-directional mode) and with data loggers and TRC600 radios where backflow monitoring is not required.
